J. Speer writes poetry, short stories, and books in her spare time. She works in HR and Accounts Payable at a nursing home and rehab facility during the pandemic. She has a Master’s degree in HR/Business and has worked for the Department of Defense, Manufacturing, and recently Healthcare. Originally a Midwest gal from Topeka, she moved to Vermont in 2022 where she lives in the serene, glacier Lake Willoughby region. She lives in a mountain cabin with a fantastic sunrise view and has 2 playful pups and parakeets named Sunny and Paco, otherwise known as Freebird. She has an avid love for all music, gardening, outdoor adventure and travel, and spending time with family.
